The First Generation
Bubbles offspring, Ch. Clussexx Country Sunrise (Brady) and Ch. Clussexx Bubblelicious (Licious), Sired by BISS BIS Ch. Smokerise Country Gentleman (Wilbur) have become the top winning dogs in the breed's history. Both Brady and Licious have won the Clumber Spaniel Club of American National Specialty Show and both have multiple All-Breed Best In Show wins, including Brady's win at the most prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show in 1996. Brady has achieved 13 Best In Show awards and Best In Show at the 1993 Clumber Spaniel Club of America National Specialty making him the world's top winning Clumber Spaniel. He is owned by Judy and Rich Zaleski in Florida and shown by Jane Alston-Meyer. Licious has won two All-Breed Best In Show awards making her the top winning female in the breed's history. Their other siblings, Ch. Clussexx Country Knight (Spanky) and group winning Ch. Clussexx Double Bubble, TD (Chiclet), would make this litter one of the most important litters in Clumber history. Bubbles, bred to Ch. Drumhill Limited Edition, CD, also produced group winning A/C Ch. Clussexx Under The Big Top, Ch. Clussexx Scotland's QP Doll and Ch. Clussexx Freckles The Clown. Finally bred to Ch. Lakeview's Winchester, she produced BIS Ch. Clussexx White Knuckles (Knuckles), Ch. Clussexx White Diamonds (Lizzie), Ch. Clussexx White Ice, and Ch. Clussexx Show White (Ellie). In 1994Jeane Haverick joined Doug under the Clussexx kennel name. Together they would continue to produce the breed's best, with the second generation of Clussexx Clumber Spaniels.
Licious, bred to her grandfather, BISS BIS Ch. Sandiam's Virginia Gentleman, produced two bitches that at only 6 months of age made their marks. Ch. Clussexx Blast From The Past (Binaca) took the best of winners award at the 1996 American Spaniel Club Specialty Show, and finished her AKC championship undefeated. Ch. Clussexx Once Upon A Time (Ginny) followed with another five-point major. Chiclet, bred to Ch. Cypress Woods Mesquite, produced Ch. Avalea Bit O'Bubbley, the winner of the Bred by Exhibitor class at the 1996 CSCA National Specialty under breeder-judge Mary Bown, and bred to Am/Can. Ch. Tanelorn's Red Baron At Clussexx, produced Ch. Clussexx Make Mine A Double. Chiclet is owned by Andrea Lefebvre and Rich Thayer. Elle is owned by Jim and Diane Rosemeyer and their children, she was bred to Ch. First Dawn At Tavirosh to produce six puppies with outstanding type and quality. Elle's Offspring, the Next Generation
Ch. Clussexx Fee Fi Foe Fumm (Fiona) finished in five shows at eight months of age, with three majors. Ch. Clussexx Billy Goat's Gruff (Bill) finished his championship at the 1997 American Spaniel Club Show winning Best of Winners for his third major. Clussexx Happily Ever After has a five-point major and won best of Opposite Sex at one of the trailer shows following the 1996 CSCA National Specialty. She is owned by Karen Kling.
